AT?LAST, thanks to my MP, I have received the information I asked for.

I have been trying to find out how much our new Chepstow Community hospital has cost and is still costing us.

It was built at a cost of £10m and it is being repaid at £1.2m for 25 years.

I asked my MP what had happened to all the land around the hospital which was considerable.

David Davies replied: "The land was sold on the open market and the proceeds were used to finance the new hospital."

So, I ask "how much has this hospital cost us?"

My next task is to find out how much the land was sold for.
