TAX payers hand over nearly £2 million a year to the private consortium running Chepstow Hospital.

Chepstow Community Hospital was the first in Wales to be built under a private finance initiative (PFI) where the hospital is built and run by a private firm and leased back to the National Health Service.

Local campaigner George Sankey asked the Aneurin Bevan health board for a breakdown of the cost of the 25-year contract.
