I write concerning the consultation Stagecoach are holding prior to changing the Forest of Dean bus routes.
Lower Lydbrook is currently served by the numbers 35 and 746. With seven buses daily from Lydbrook to Ross- on-Wye and five on the return journey.
This service passes through Ross-on-Wye, Ruardean, Lydbrook, Coleford, Cinderford, Monmouth and villages between.
This service is due to be axed, totally.
This would be a huge loss to the important link between the Forest of Dean, Wales and Herefordshire/the Wye Valley.
It would leave users in Lydbrook completely isolated.
It is really important that passengers who use these routes and want to keep them running respond to the Stagecoach consultation before the end of March
