THE annual ‘Guess the Scarecrow’ competition trail around Tutshill starts this Friday (March 25).
There are already around 30 scarecrows to find, all based on the theme of children’s film characters, and people have to guess the name.
Each year more people take part in the event and it has now become an established Tutshill tradition for everyone of all ages. Quiz sheets are available at Lifestyle/Express shop in Beachley Road, Tutshill, and should be returned to Tutshill church by the end of Saturday, April 9.
Everyone gets to choose their favourite scarecrow even if they cannot guess all of the answers and there will be a special prize awarded in that category.
To round off the excitement of the search there will be a fun event at Tutshill Primary School on Sunday, April 10 from 3.30pm to 5pm with refreshments, scarecrow-related crafts and activities, the answers to the quiz, and the prize winners announced.
This year’s prizes include one kindly donated by Perrygrove Railway.
