LIVE music entertained supporters and welcomed crews home at the end of the 50th staging of The Rotary Club of Monmouth Raft Race.

Chepstow Comprehensive School A level pupils seventeen-year-olds Ollie Barnes, Rita Bonifacio and Clara Zorab, who make up the band Illeagle opened the gig with a one-hour set.

The three other bands which performed afterwards were Apple Tree Theory, Wyld Bird Seed and Twysted River. Along with the live music there was a very well-attended family festival at the finish at Tump Farm in Whitebrook.
