THERE was no stopping 103-year-old Irene Cutler when she bounced into action to try out a tramploine.
Irene, from the Hazelhurst nursing home in Ross-on-Wye, also climbed on board the roundabout at the Orchard Trust’s Stowfield Activity Park, proving that you are never too old to have fun.
The group from the home were treated to afternoon tea and cake before being introduced to some of the animals on the smallholding by manager Phill Hucks. There were plenty of cuddles with a baby Pygmy goat and a guinea pig whilst the flock of friendly sheep, Millie the pig, the chickens and ducks were viewed from the wheelchair accessible pathways that meander through the site.
The visit ended at the newly installed activity park where Irene Cullis happily accessed the roundabout and trampoline in her wheelchair.
The site is accessible to everyone free of charge regardless of age or ability. Donations towards upkeep are welcome.
