JEALOUSY love and sabotage are the eternal themes of a compilation of Shakespearean plays set to be performed by students at the Forest Theatre.

Written, directed and performed by the students themselves, 'Shakespeare's Last' brings together some of the bard's best known characters.

Set in a modern art gallery, the cast made up of 12GC students from the Forest campus, includes a deeply bitter security guard and what's described as an 'incredibly camp' cleaner.

Although the students have done it themselves, guidance has come from Drama and English teacher, Nicola Worgan.

She said: "The students have been fantastically creative in putting the whole thing together and creating a modern story using some of Shakespeare's best known characters. They've put huge amounts of their time and effort into the production and I am very excited about seeing it all come together for the performances."

They'll be on March 3 and March 4 at 7pm. To find out more telephone the Forest Theatre's box office on 01594 833416.
