NOW Mr Harper, whose side are you on? Do you believe in democracy and representing your constituents?
We do not want any sale of Forestry land and, if you believe in the useless diatribe you wrote in this newspaper about the benefits of a sell-off, you are a bigger fool than even I had thought.
I would remind you of your comments to me at my doorstep some years ago when I questioned your party on this subject. Your comment was that the Conservatives had no agenda to sell off Forestry land, and if they ever did you would personally fight against it. You followed this up with a letter in the Forester in reply to the same question to a local constituent. You said if an attempt of a sell off was successful you would resign.
There are council elections next year and, eventually, a general election, so I urge all Forest residents to kick the backsides of those Conservatives blindly following party lines so hard they dap the other side of Highnam roundabout.
This sell off has nothing to do with the country's finances, more to do with Conservative ideology and could be sold to reward the party's financial backers.
Years ago there were strong rumours of dumping atomic waste here. Could this be part of the agenda? It would be very lucrative.
I fear the worst this time with a Bill being pushed through by Mr Harper and his party which will ensure the Forest can be sold off without going through normal parliamentary procedure.
