CHESTNUT class at Lea Church of England Primary School spent the morning getting to grips with life on a farm.

The Year One and Two pupils visited Bradley Farm, near Mitcheldean, which is run by the Whitehouse family, to engage in farm activities and look at the animals.

Pupils especially enjoyed learning how the goats are milked and what they eat.

Aldona Piotrowska at the school said: “The children would like to thank the Whitehouse family for the wonderful morning. It was great fun to watch the kids leaping around and snuggling together. The school and parents would also like to thank Harewood End Agricultural Society for their generous sponsorship of this trip.”
