A SERVICE was held in Bathurst Park in Lydney to remember all those who lost their lives during the Korean War.

The service was organised by the Gloucestershire Regiment Association (Forest of Dean branch).

A wreath was laid by Mr Roy Mills, who was a prisoner of war in the conflict.

The war, which ran from 1950 to 1953, became known as the forgotten war, and involved 65,000 troops from 21 countries.
