ESTYN inspectors have been at work in Wyesham’s Kymin View Primary School in Monmouth and have decided that the school is ‘good.’

The report, published today (Wednesday), states that: “The vibrant, modern environment, both indoors and outdoors, supports pupils’ learning well.”

Chair of governors and Monmouthshire’s Cabinet member for education and learning, Cllr Liz Hacket-Pain (Con, Wyesham) told the Review: “I’d like to extend a special thanks to everyone who has been involved in the inspection process. It is a matter of working together as a governing body with the school, parents and the children. I am so pleased the hard work has been recognised.”

Kymin View is holding its summer fete and mini festival ‘KV Fest’ this Saturday from noon to 3pm at the school.

Cllr Hacket-Pain added: “It promises to be a great event and everyone is welcome to come and help us celebrate the schools fantastic Estyn inspection.”
