LITTLEDEAN artist Allan Barker is hosting his first solo show at The George in Newnham-on-Severn this Saturday (April 16).

Allan, who settled in the Forest 12 years ago, has exhibited at Open Studios and at mixed exhibitions at The George in the past, and was invited to have his own solo show after receiving many positive comments and sales.

His work is mainly landscapes of the local area and features views of the Severn and Wye rivers in oil and acrylic paints.

The exhibition runs until Saturday, May 7 and is open from 9.30am to 4pm (closed Sundays). Check out The George Cafe’s Facebook page for more information.
