“FANTASTIC” – that was the verdict on Legally Blonde, the latest show by Ross-based theatre group X-entricity.

The show ran from Tuesday until Saturday last week at the Larruperz Centre in Ross to appreciative audiences.

The part of Elle – the woman who decides to get into a top law school after being dumped by her boyfriend – was played by Lauren Hughes. Warner was played by Matthew Lawrence.

The show is a high-energy, feel-good musical and the young cast responded to that.

Jane Hewson, of X-entricity, said: “The show was a huge success, and audiences loved it.

“The amazing cast sang and danced faultlessly, and  were backed by a fantastic  live band of 12 professional musicians.

“Add in a wonderful set and costumes – with some super-quick changes, especially for Elle – fully professional lighting and sound rigs and X-entricity’s Legally Blonde really did bring the West End to Ross-on-Wye.

There will be a second to catch the show when it runs at the Courtyard Theatre in Hereford from Wednesday, May 31 to Sunday, June 4.
