A ROUTINE search at Birmingham International Airport led to the seizure of an array of lethal weapons being carried into the country by a Forest group.
They were confiscated from a seven-strong group of people, reported to be from Lydney, who were returning to the UK from Bourgas in Bulgaria on July 7.
Six steel throwing stars, two extendable batons and two knuckle-dusters were found in the luggage of four of the travellers.
The four, all male and aged in their late teens and early twenties, were given a written warning about the threat of prosecution if they attempted to bring prohibited goods in the future. Their identities have not been revealed.
