ALREADY a seasoned jumper from high places, Lucy Redmond is about to undergo the world's longest zipwire challenge to help the Severan Area Rescue Association (SARA).
Now she is braving the mega-zipwire at the National Diving Centre near Chepstow on May 12.
"I'm not anxious at the moment but I have been to see the wire and I have a little time to reaslise what I have let myself in for," she said.
"I feel very privileged to have lived in the Forest of Dean all my life. The area is becoming more and popular for outdoor activities and holidays and this is placing even greater demands on the rescue services SARA provides.
"I'm delighted to be able to support this great cause and Glevum have kindly kick-started my fundraising with a £50 donation. I hope to raise as much as I possibly can."
Anybody wishing to sponsor Lucy can do so either by calling Glevum on 0800 33 22 55 or via the Just Giving website http://www.justgiving.com/LucyR-JamesF">www.justgiving.com/LucyR-JamesF
