It's two years next month since the Forest Ladies Lunch Club was "born", and we're still going strong. We meet on a weekday, once a month at a different venue each time. 

The club is for retired ladies within the Forest who would like to meet up on a regular basis with like-minded ladies of a similar age.

Lunches are at their own expense and the only stipulation is that they let me know the week before the event (as can be seen on my website below by choosing "Forest Ladies Lunch Club" and scrolling down the page) whether they'll be there, so that the venue can be pre-warned.

We have, over the last two years, been to many pubs, restaurants, hotels and tea rooms around the Forest and (as one of our ladies once commented upon) intend to visit all that exist within the Forest over time.
