FOLLOWING on from the further flooding and disruption suffered by the inhabitants of Lydbrook, a public meeting is to be held this Thursday, January 16, at Lydbrook Memorial Hall.

The meeting will include the showing of a film which has been made, which shows footage of the culverts which run under the village, and which have been blamed for the catastrophic flooding of 14 months ago, and the near-misses that occurred over the Christmas and New Year periods.

Representatives of the district council and county council are expected to attend.

The meeting starts at 7.00pm, until 9.00pm.
