LYDNEY Parish annual Summer Fayre will be held in the grounds of the Old Vicarage on Saturday September 10.

Proceeds from the event will be split between St Mary's Church and Holy Trinity, Primrose Hill, and their nominated charity for the year, Hope for Tomorrow.

Hope for Tomorrow helps those with cancer – and their dependents – with a Mobile Chemotherapy Unit project, which brings vital treatment closer to patients' homes.

The event will be opened at 2pm by Judy Gazzard, chair of the Forest supporters group for Hope for Tomorrow.

There will be live entertainment including Lydney Training Band, Severnbanks Cygnets, Lydney Lindy Hop and Worship 24:7, together with

many stalls and lots of games, a raffle sponsored by Thompson & Thompson and flower and music exhibitions in St Mary's Church.
