A MAN died following a road traffic accident at junction two of the M48 in Chepstow.

No other vehicle was involved in the incident which happened at around 2.45am on Sunday morning (November 29).

He has been named as 61-year old Alexander Keningale of Caldicot.

He was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport where he later died of his injuries.

Gwent Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them on 101 quoting log 74 of November 29.

His family is being supported by specially-trained police officers.
