A GROUP of Forest churches have been brought together for the first time in a fund-raising calendar.

The six churches in the Westbury benefice range from the huge parish church at Westbury to the "tin church" in Rodley. It also includes Blaisdon, Flaxley, Minsterworth and Northwood Green.

Liz Perry of Blaisdon took two pictures of each of the churches, interior and exterior, with her compact camera.

She said: "I tried to get more unusual views so there is one looking across the river to Minsterworth Church and one of Westbury Church from Westbury Court gardens.

"My granddaughter Amy Martine helped me with the computer work.

"All proceeds will be divided between the six churches all of which need our help to keep them going."
