A MAN involved in an industrial accident near Monmouth last week died of his injuries, police have revealed.

Emergency services were called to the accident at Manson’s Lane at 12.34pm last Wednesday.

The 65-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, Gwent Police have said.

He has been named as David Llewellyn from the Tredegar area.

An investigation by Gwent Police and the Health and Safety Executive is continuing to establish the circumstances of the incident.
