THERE was a stunned silence...then Melissa said 'Yes'!

"Of course she was a bit embarrassed. When you go to the cinema you don't expect to get a wedding proposal on the screen," laughed Robin Kerr.

The Berry Hill man had carefully planned his proposal to his girlfriend Melissa Brannan, of Coleford.

"It had to be special so I decided to ask the management at The Studio in Coleford, to put my proposal on the screen. I had a special DVD made up. The staff at The Studio were brilliant, and spot on quarter to seven the proposal came on," said Robin.

The couple, who have been together for 10 months, had gone to see 'Puss in Boots'.

"There was a bit of a silence but then I'm delighted to say she said 'yes'. I would really like to thank the management at The Studio who did everything they could to make it such a wonderful evening," he said.

Now the couple are busy making their wedding plans.
