A BROADWELL householder has enlisted his MP's support for a call to reinvestigate the removal of asbestos from his Two Rivers owned bungalow through the Parliamentary Ombudsman.
In a written statement, Mr Brian Jackson, said: "I have recently, in cooperation with my MP, Mark Harper, requested that the Parliamentary Ombudsman reinvestigate the case of asbestos exposure which happened at my home on June 24, 2009.
"I have specifically asked that there is not only an investigation into the two firms involved, Two Rivers Housing and Rainbow International (Ross on Wye) is carried out, but also an internal investigation into the handling of the original case by the Bristol based Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
"My wife and I have always claimed that the original inquiry carried out the HSE was flawed and should have resulted in a prosecution of both firms involved."
MP Mark Harper's office confirmed the complaint has been completed and forwarded to the Parliamentary Ombudsman.
