APPLICATIONS for the Royal Forest of Dean Herbert Howells Society bursary are being accepted.

Budding musicians from the Forest have a chance of winning the £1,500 in memory of the Lydney born composer. Applicants must have attained grade seven, and working towards grade eight, and should be in, or older than, school Year 11, and 25 years or under on December 1.
