ON Saturday evening we went to Lydney Town Hall to see the latest show from our local Forest Musical Society – Evolution of Music.  

I would like to thank the group for a fantastic evening of musical entertainment.

The singers were bold and strong  and the choice of songs was interesting, from Pack up Your Troubles and Ol’ Blue Eyes  to Chasing Cars and Michael Jackson.

The energy on stage was palpable and transferred itself to the audience.

Well done to  all those who spent their summer rehearsing to present us with a fabulous evening’s entertainment.

It is such a shame there were not more people in the audience to support their local talent. You missed a treat. 

If you want such groups to survive for your children and grandchildren who might have such  talent then they need your support.
