FOLLOWING recent surveys into the culverts underneath Lydbrook, the mouth of a mysterious tunnel has been revealed by recent works.

The exposed stonework, which is of fine quality, is filled with debris, and may form one end of a culvert that extends up beyond the old lorry park, towards the Anchor Inn.
