I LIVE in Parkend where my wife and our neighbour witnessed the strange flying orange lights mentioned by plenty of people now. I attached some video footage of one of the objects. I think you will agree that they are not Chinese lanterns which I have witnessed many times before. They were travelling far too fast.
The footage was taken in HD on 04/09/2009 at approximately 22.05 at night from our back garden in Parkend.
I am trying to locate someone with a computer programme who could zoom in on the object to get a better look.
I would prefer my name not to be mentioned in the paper as there are a lot of sceptics out there. I was until I saw what I saw! – Name and address supplied.
