A MAN broke into 11 vehicles in Newnham on Severn on one night last week and police are appealing for any other victims to come forward.

The incidents happened some time on the night of Sunday, December 11 and the following morning.

A blue iPod was stolen from the glove box of a Citroen Picasso in Sheens Meadow while a folder of CDs was taken from an unlocked Renault Clio and cash was stolen from an Audi A6 on the same road.

The thief, described as being of medium build and riding a mountain bike, also searched a Vauxhall Corsa at Sheens Meadow, a white Ford Transit van at Orchard Rise, an Audi A4 and Saab at Church Road, and a Peugeot 207 in Hyde Bank. Nothing was taken in these incidents.

The owner of a silver Mercedes 200 described his vehicle as "trashed" after the thief searched and stole loose change while cash was also taken from a Renault Megane in Queens Acre and CDs were stolen from a Volkswagen Passat in Kingsmead.

Police are carrying out a number of inquiries and are urging anyone with information, or anyone who believes they may also be a victim to come forward.
