I AM not one for writing to newspapers, in fact I have never written to a newspaper.

The reason for writing this letter is to share and express my experience I had recently of the NHS.

I had a heart attack and I cannot thank enough the paramedics and ambulance service who came to my rescue.

Also Gloucester Royal Hospital but especially Cheltenham Royal Hospital’s surgeons, doctors and nurses who helped me to recovery.

Without these amazing people I would not be writing this letter.

Even the porters, tea ladies and cleaners who made me smile. Thank you all.

I only wish I could remember their names to thank them individually.

Where would be without all these amazing people and our NHS.
