RESIDENTS of Bulwark are likely to see their request for double yellow lines granted.

Complaints had been made to Monmouthshire Council about parked cars blocking the junction between Victoria Road and Thornwell Road.

The lines will be put in for about 20 metres from the junction on either side of Victoria Road, 10 metres from the junction along Thornwell Road towards Bulwark shops and 20 metres towards the Two Brewers pub.

The councillor in charge of the county's roads, Councillor Brian Jones, was this week expected to approve the changes.
