I WRITE following the Windsor Drive resident's letter (Review June 28) concerning the proposed Allaston development.

I can quite understand his concern in connection with the possible use of his land for access/exit purposes but I resent his proposal concerning the use of Highfields Lane as a substitute.

As a resident of that particular lane I must point out that it is only a single track road and the residents, by and large, control the verges. They are not for sale!
