I AM 13 years old, and I am writing on behalf of many people in my position, as I am concerned about the Leisure Centre and College moving from Five Acres.

I am also writing to make people aware of the effects that this will have on people my age. The number of children playing on the roads will increase, if these plans continue.

There has been a rise in obese children in England throughout recent years. There was a massive growth from 9 per cent of obese children in 1975 to 25 per cent in 2002. Removing our Leisure Centre will cause these statistics to grow even more.

I'm sure you will agree this is not the way forward for our community, and I also hope you understand my points, and that it will make a difference.
