FOREST builders' merchants Hale and Co are celebrating the successful launch of a new kitchen and bathroom showroom as well as a studio specialising in ranges and stoves.

The go-ahead Drybrook-based company has been at the heart of the building trade in the Dean for 100 years.

But determined to be at the forefront of the growing interest in home improvements and especially the trend to upgrade kitchens and bathrooms, the firm unveiled swish new showrooms at the weekend.

Customer services manager Nigel Britter said customers now had an unparalleled showcase of kitchen and bathroom designs displaying traditional, modern or contemporary interiors.

He said the walk-through displays were designed to suit every home and budget. Additionally, staff members were available to make home visits to measure for kitchens and bathrooms and discuss requirements before producing computerised plans and costings.

Mr Britter said the range and stove studio enabled customers to explore heating and cooking options across the board.

"Whether it is gas, electric, oil, multi-fuel or woodburning, modern or traditional, I'm sure there is a model to suit ," he said.

Showroom manager Kevin Steer described the weekend showcase as a massive success.

"Many people are considering upgrading or replacing a kitchen or bathroom as an alternative to moving house. It can be a great investment adding both value and style to a home," he said.
