SIX oak trees at a Forest landmark, planted to mark the millennium, have been vandalised.
The saplings at Pan Tod beacon near Ruardean appear to have been hit by a vehicle.
The damage was discovered by Keith Martin, a member of the Friends of Pan Tod group, while he was walking his dog.
Maurice Bent, of the Friends of Pan Tod: “The saplings were planted as part of the millennium and they have been flattened, probably by a Landrover.
“This is terrible and we would ask anyone with information about it to contact Gloucestershire Police.”
