HAVE a gander at this, it's enough to make your eyes water ... a local goose has had the neck to lay this 14oz egg - and by any standard that is really something to honk about.
"An average goose egg is about six or seven ounces," says Julie Harris, pictured here with Polly and Dolly.
Julie, who lives at Elton Lane, near Newnham, is not sure which one laid the egg, but we would like to know if it is a local record.
