THE ongoing success and growth of The Review has been marked this week by an increased print run of over 1,000 copies.

The newspaper is one of the biggest in the West of England and South Wales with a distribution of more than 46,000.

Editor Mark Elson said the decision to print even more copies had been taken to meet a growing demand for the paper throughout the Forest and Wye Valley.

He said: "There has been a steady increase in the number of new houses and estates built locally. We have done our best to service their needs and to meet requests for a regular delivery.

"We are not far short of 100 per cent coverage and where there are no deliveries we try and achieve a bulk drop of papers in a local store."

Advertisement manager Samantha Jeffs said the Review recognised the difficult times being faced by many businesses.

"We offer many advertising options and some great deals. We are doing our best to support local businesses in a positive way. By considerably increasing our circulation we will reach an additional 3,000 or so regular readers and that is an obvious advantage to the district we serve," she said.

•The Review's online edition is also proving a huge success and is closely followed by Forest and Wye Valley folk throughout Britain and all over the world.
