FRED, Sue and family formerly of The Malt Shovel Inn, Ruardean, would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all our customers for their support over the last five years.  We have met some wonderful people and have made some fantastic friends and had some fantastic times together. 

We were overwhelmed by the amount of gifts, flowers, cards and messages received, and cannot thank you all enough.

We were very sad to be leaving so many friends behind but look forward to seeing you all again as soon as Fred gets over his next operation. 

We would also like to thank our staff, Alan, Hazel, Josh, Kate, Emma, Megan and Vicky for all their hard work in making the pub the success it was. 

To quote one of our customers 'it was a pleasure and never a chore.'
