A NEW open access Youth Group in Lydney has been launched by Lydney Parish formed by St Mary's and Primrose Hill churches.

Called 'Vibe,' the group is being set up under the leadership of newly-appointed part-time parish youth group leader Julie Drew and a team of helpers.

"Vibe exists to provide a safe place for young people in Lydney to get together, socialise and have fun," says Julie.

Vibe will meet at the Old Vicarage on alternate Thursday evenings during term time, with those in school years Y7- Y9 (11-13 years) invited to attend from 6.30pm-8pm and those in Y10+ (14 years-plus) from 7.30pm-9pm.

"Anyone currently in Y6, due to move on to secondary school in September, is also very warmly invited to join us," said Julie.
