So Lidl wants to fine an old lady £90?
As far as I'm aware, Lidl is just a trading organisation. It isn't a court, police force, or prosecuting authority. Thus it has no power to 'fine' anybody.
If Lidl don't like the way customers behave, it has the same rights as anyone else – ie it can complain to the police, or to the civil courts.
Lidl would also do well to brush up on their UK law by reading our Bill of Rights, 1689 – 'all fines before conviction are illegal and void'.
