WHAT on earth has happened to our local newspaper's letters page?.

We used to have residents and  politicians airing their views on issues such  as immigration, Euro membership, the economy and the NHS.

Now all we seem to get in the Review letters page is the never-ending  debate between the Asda  and Co-op supporters  (yawn) or the wild pigs or (bore).

Please can we get back to less parochial issues  before we lose the will to live?
