IN regard to Owen Adams's letter, he is right the three parties have all let us down. It really does feel like there is nowhere to go. I look at what has happened to the Forest and it rips my heart out.

Labour and Lib Dems are trying to say they are different. The problem that I see is that they all answer to their powers above, as does UKIP.

The only ones who answer directly to us and have only us to work for are the Independents. In a local election a vote for an Independent is not a wasted vote. An Independent came second last time.

We need local councillors who do not hide behind their party badge and care nothing for the people of the Forest. Over and over the main parties have proved why we should not vote for them.

Lets give someone else a chance before it's too late. We have lost too much already and its time to take it back.
