THE Forest Musical Society has just started rehearsals for "Pirates of Penzance" in October, only to find it is short of policemen!

"It is an ambitious project for which we need more cast members," says spokesman Peter Silsby. 

"We have secured the services of an experienced stage director, musical director and accompanists.

 

"I would like to send out a plea to all Forest of Dean residents who enjoy singing to come along to our rehearsals. We welcome members of all ages.

Rehearsals take place on Tuesday evenings, between 7pm and 9pm.at Lakers School Hall."
