PEOPLE are being asked for their views on a proposed new play park at the West Dean Centre in Bream.
A group of parents with children at Bream Early Learners have been working with West Dean Parish Council for the last year on a grant application to build a play park for children aged eight and under.
The group has been successful at stage 1 of the grant process and have a few months to complete the second stage, but they now need your help.
Consultation is a very important part of the application and the committee want to hear your opinions and ideas about what you would like to see provided for the children of Bream.
A display has been created in the foyer of the West Dean Centre in Bream to provide inspiration.
Project leader Christine Wakerley says: "The pictures displayed are designed to give a suggestion of the different styles you can have with play equipment, for example at a basic level, whether you prefer wood or metal structures, but we want to hear much more than that.
"Please come along and give your support by seeing what is happening in your community and make your opinion count."
•You can see the display at the West Dean Centre until this Friday (May 27). For more information please telephone the parish office on 01594 564484, or view the Facebook page 'Bream play park'.
