THERE are lots of strange characters arriving in Lydbrook for Lydbrook Players’ annual pantomime next week.

The group have worked hard to put on Rumpelstiltskin which stars Geoff Dixon as Rumpelstiltskin, who plays a strange little man dancing around in the woods while three village idiots are trying to find him.

Like last year, the Players will be raising money for a good local cause. This year Lydbrook Community Care, who offer help to the elderly, disabled, vulnerable and socially-isolated in the Forest, will benefit from the proceeds raised.

The pantomime will be held at Lydbrook Memorial Hall on Thursday, Friday and Saturday (December 17, 18, 19) from 7.30pm. The matinee on Saturday starts at 2.30pm.
