A FOREST sheep badger has appealed for information after one of his animals was stolen.

Henry Mills, who has been keeping sheep for more than 60 years, says the black-faced sheep was taken from a field in Moseley Green.

Mr Mills, aged 85, bought the ‘tup’, a well-regarded breeding ram, just a month before.

The animal was taken sometime between Friday, November 25 and Saturday, November 26.

He said: “The tup was in a field I rent from the Forestry Commission at Moseley Green.

“When I went back to the field he was nowhere. I went searching for him but I couldn’t find him.

“Somebody has stolen him – he was locked in the field and it would have been impossible for him to get out.”

The sheep has the initials HM on his coat and a blue dot on his tail.

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101 quoting incident 180 of November 25.
