A FOREST brewery has scooped five awards in one week for its beer.

Bespoke Brewing Co, in Mitcheldean, received four awards at Ludlow Castle by the Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA) West and Wales with Bespoke's Money for Old Rope taking gold in its bottled category, and then became the overall winner as the champion of bottled beers.

In the cask category, King's Shilling won gold in the standard mild ales and Over a Barrel took bronze in its category.

During the same week, Money for Old Rope was crowned champion beer at the Banbury Beer Festival.

Mike Bayliss at Bespoke Brewery co, said: "We are very proud of our beers and our brewing team and to the many local pubs and drinkers who have supported us."
