A POLICE car veered across a pavement into a garden wall after a collision with a car driven by a pensioner.
The driver of the marked police car and the elderly woman car driver were both treated for “minor injuries” after the accident last Wednesday morning (March 21) in Ross-on-Wye.
Sergeant Nick Green of West Mercia Police said: “A marked police car was involved in a collision with a Honda CR-V and a wall on Ledbury Road shortly before 11.30am.
“Both drivers sustained minor injuries. An ambulance was in attendance and the driver of the Honda – a woman in her 70s – received medical treatment at the scene.
“Herefordshire Council also attended to assist with a fuel spillage on the road.
“If anyone witnessed the collision, please call West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident number 235S of March 21, 2018.”
