POLICE are looking for a man who allegedly threatened a Coleford shop worker with a knife.

The man, who described as black and 6ft tall, went to a convenience shop in Pyart Court on Monday afternoon and demanded cash from a female member of staff before running off. It is unclear if anything was taken.

The man was wearing a black hoodie with the zip up, black baggy jogging bottoms and trainers.

Inquiries are continuing but anyone who witnessed the incident or recognises the description of the offender should call 101 and quote incident 297 of September 7.
