IT is becoming increasingly difficult not to suspect that Jeremy Hunt is determined to maintain his dubious conduct in the current junior doctors’ strike for political reasons.

He clearly hopes that if he persists we, the public, will finally accept his propaganda and place the blame on the doctors.

His job is to be a politician using political skills to ensure we have the health service we have all benefited from since its inception.

Their job is to provide the service and protect it from detrimental ministerial interference. He has the upper hand. They can only react to his dictate.

An imposed agreement is not an agreement.

He should resign before he does more damage.
