ELECTRICIAN Roger Davey took delivery of two impressive new wooden gate posts last Thursday – only to find them stolen by the following morning.

The posts were left at the entrance to his property at Fetter Hill, near Coleford, ready to be erected the following day.

"Obviously someone took a shine to them. They were pretty substantial and it would take two men to lift them. I'm hoping someone saw a vehicle parked in the entrance on Thursday evening," he said.
